For NTFS volumes, the utility uses the Master File Table as its primary source rather than performing a conventional file-by-file scan. Its output is designed for both visual inspection and operational follow-up: users can identify duplicates, copy file data to the clipboard, export results to CSV, and invoke several command-line actions. The site also says hard-linked files are not double-counted, so allocated-space totals should align with Windows reporting.
