Nomeus, the Laravel workstation that wants to be your whole local stack
A free, MIT-licensed macOS environment for Laravel that coordinates Valet, Homebrew services, databases, Redis, mail, logs, Xdebug, Node versions, and local debugging.
Field notes
Nomeus uses a per-site nomeus.yml to declare domains, TLS, PHP and Node versions, databases, Redis, mail, environment variables, and scripts, then applies that configuration through an idempotent init command. The page also documents service adoption and cloning: an existing Homebrew PostgreSQL service can be moved under Nomeus management, while a cloned instance receives copied data and the next free port. Its doctor command reportedly covers about sixty checks across Valet, PHP, launchd, ports, and ini files.
