LifeBot analyzes one person’s self-tracking data, tests a prewritten question, and then tries to disprove its own answer.

Field notes

LifeBot pre-registers the question in plain language before opening the data, then treats missingness as part of the analysis rather than silently discarding it. Its stress tests include dropping a month, reversing the presumed direction, and accounting for an obvious third cause. The published examples expose the underlying scale: one study recomputes 18,081 readings over 65 days, while another notes that its glucose export contains no meal data and therefore cannot explain the observed pattern.
