RAMP·CTRL Turns the Airport Ramp Into a Shared Live Board
A general-aviation ramp-control system that combines live ADS-B tracking, aircraft records, weather, parking, schedules, and crew communication.
Field notes
The system combines an inbound aircraft board with shared ramp state: operators can select a tail, inspect registry and flight information, place it on a parking spot, and propagate the change to other devices. The described workflow covers a 120-nautical-mile scope and six automated stages from scheduled through departed. Weather handling includes decoded METAR/TAF data, radar, computed flight categories, and alerts for specified wind or thunderstorm conditions.
