ScanWRX, the network scanner that refuses to guess

scanwrx.online Observed source
Editorial interest 84/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A Windows scanner that discovers devices, explains its identifications, tracks changes by MAC address, and exports the result.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-05 issue.

Field notes

The scanner combines ARP, ICMP, TCP, mDNS, SSDP, WS-Discovery, and NetBIOS while results arrive, then lets the operator inspect which probe supports each identification. Its identity model follows MAC addresses, so a DHCP change can appear as one moved device rather than a disappearance and replacement. The page shows an 80-device /24 example completed in 8 seconds over Wi-Fi and says the no-account free tier exports CSV or JSON; a client-formatted PDF is attributed to Pro.
