Star Isles — a village grown from the ground under your feet
A location-generated village game that turns nearby places, local conditions, and player wishes into a block-built island with villagers who remember conversations.
Field notes
The project combines approximate location, nearby place data, and generated writing to produce a single-player village rather than a conventional map. Its Workshop accepts a natural-language wish and reports concrete generation checks: the sample Statue of Liberty build contains 81 blocks, passed 11 shape checks, and took 91 seconds. The page attributes village and villager text generation to Claude, with Open-Meteo and OpenStreetMap supplying weather and place names.
