The workflow separates process selection from geometry description, complexity, part count, and turnaround, then produces an automatic estimate before human review. Its process notes specify different checks for different fabrication methods: CNC tool access and stock orientation, wire-EDM kerf and start holes, sheet-metal bend deductions, and additive-manufacturing wall thickness and supports. The form accepts both conventional CAD formats and informal references such as photos or napkin sketches, with uploads capped at 7MB.
