Trim: a Windows debloater with an undo button
An open-source PowerShell tool that removes selected Windows clutter, inspects startup items and disk waste, and records the changes it can reverse.
Field notes
Trim presents cleanup as a reviewable change set rather than a one-click purge. Its example interface reports 60 possible changes, shows old and new values with risk labels, and selects only SAFE items by default. The disk scan is described as covering every drive in 13 categories, while startup shortcuts are moved instead of deleted. The page also links to the script, source repository and SHA256 fingerprint for inspection.
