Estifex, the estimating desk for small woodshops
A furniture-estimating tool that turns timber, machining, sanding, packaging, overhead, and profit inputs into product prices and numbered offers.
Field notes
The estimator begins with reusable shop data: materials, thicknesses, waste allowances, non-material operations, and customer records. A quote then combines named parts with dimensions or a drawing, calculates the timber each part requires, and applies production and commercial additions in sequence. The page gives a concrete example of 50 mm length, 10 mm width, and 4 mm thickness allowances, and illustrates the cost of ten monthly estimates with seven rejected proposals.
