HASA, the Humans Against Slop Association
A volunteer-built association cataloguing better corners of the internet, publishing field notes, and proposing a standard for disclosing how creative work was made.

HASA divides its public work into a manifesto, a Human Web catalog, and Field Notes, with visible entries such as “The 47 Identical Articles Problem” and “Somebody Made a Useless Website.” Its H-1 through H-4 standard asks creators to disclose how generative tools were used, and the site applies that rule to itself: the project describes its direction as human-led while acknowledging AI-assisted implementation and production. A local membership card can be generated and stored on the visitor’s device.
