HydroNode, from sensor reading to live map
A free environmental-monitoring platform that sends hydroponics, weather, garden, and indoor-air readings to charts, alerts, maps, and Home Assistant.
Field notes
HydroNode assigns each sensor a UUID and secret, then accepts readings through an Arduino library, signed HTTPS requests, or LoRaWAN routes involving Helium and ChirpStack. The page lists more than 30 measurement types and shows a quickstart based on an ESP32 sketch whose library handles WiFi, NTP, TLS, and HMAC signing. It also describes READ, WRITE, and ADMIN team permissions, alongside public stations that can be followed without an account.
