IndieCSV: A local CSV repair bench
A browser-based tool that inspects, repairs, and exports messy CSV files without uploading them.
Field notes
IndieCSV accepts a file or pasted text, tests comma, semicolon, tab, and pipe delimiters, and presents record widths and problematic rows before any changes are made. Optional transformations include filling missing fields, deleting wholly empty records, trimming cell whitespace, and prefixing formula-like values. The page says parsing uses Papa Parse locally and limits files to 2 MiB. Exports preserve string values in either CSV or row-array JSON, including the first record.
