Leaf Slip: Human approval for paused software runs
A plain-text form system that lets software stop, ask a person for a decision, and continue when the answer arrives.
Field notes
Leaf Slip represents approval requests as ordinary forms that a named recipient can open and answer, while the originating run remains paused. The examples expose ask_human and ask_status calls, with JSON carrying the question, context, approvers, and resulting decision. The page describes escalation to another recipient, deadline handling, and an expiry state that never counts as approval. Forms can be created through MCP, by hand, or through a clicking interface.
