Library Smash Turns School-Library Work Into a 3D Game
A bilingual Hong Kong school-library simulator where players handle loans, shelving, repairs, equipment problems, and information-literacy lessons.
Field notes
The game divides library work into progressively busier scenarios: early levels focus on lending and returns, later levels combine calls, email, copying, equipment faults, order, and environmental problems. A separate eight-lesson mode turns catalogue searching, call numbers, source evaluation, AI-generated fakes, copyright, and digital citizenship into guided exercises with immediate feedback. The simulated setting includes a reading corner, computer area, noticeboard, store room, and e-classroom.
