The project separates three kinds of information that art sites often blur: the artist's viewpoint, the real place represented in the image, and the museum holding the original. Its featured records include geographic qualifiers such as a northeast corner of an Arles café terrace and a south-bank view of Delft. The collection cites Wikidata, Getty, OpenStreetMap, Wikimedia Commons, and museum open-access APIs, with image rights attributed to individual sources.
