PP Vault Turns a Photograph into a Password Surface
A no-account vault for notes, files, photos, logins, and two-factor codes, unlocked by dragging characters across a personal photograph.
Field notes
The unlock flow uses a photograph as a private coordinate system: users select two characters and two landmarks, then drag a freshly dealt grid until each character reaches its target. The page specifies a 16-character set designed to avoid visual confusion and says each backup can be reopened with 17 written-down words. It also describes a browser extension that requests access only when its toolbar button is clicked, rather than maintaining standing access to every website.
