Solar Still Works: Is My Solar Still Working?
A free homeowner check that compares a solar installation’s reported lifetime production with what a similar system should have generated.
Field notes
The estimate is assembled month by month from the installation date using PVWatts-style typical-year weather data, system size, roof orientation, pitch, and an allowance for panel aging. Results are grouped into three practical bands: at least 85 percent of expected production reads as normal, 65–85 percent warrants investigation, and below 65 percent usually indicates a problem. The page also points users toward inverter-brand instructions, while separating production monitoring from electrical safety inspection.
