The Cleverbots Reopen a 2011 AI Conversation

Field notes
The project rebuilds the original 2011 desk scene as an interactive 3D setting, with controls for sound, mesh display, alternate views, and comparison with the source material. Visitors may send messages up to 500 characters or questions up to 200 characters, but publication is moderated and rate-limited. The site proposes organizing future exchanges into topic records covering identity, belief, and the universe; the visible experiment is currently paused.
