Each daily challenge is a small program whose behavior is defined by six outputs across eight inputs. A submitted shortening is re-run on fresh inputs; solutions that merely fit the visible tests are marked, while a public solver establishes the day's comparison depth. The challenge source is selected from the first Ethereum block after midnight UTC, and the scoring system adds an eight-point bonus for the deepest result plus a streak bonus capped at five.
