Leash: Claude Code in Your Telegram
An MIT-licensed tool that lets you run Claude Code and Codex on your own Mac or Linux machine through Telegram.
Field notes
Leash uses Telegram's Bot API as the message channel while keeping agent execution on the user's machine. The page describes long polling over outbound HTTPS rather than a tunnel, webhook, or cloud relay, with updates checked against an authorized chat ID. It also specifies a 20 MB limit for images, PDFs, and code files, and says sessions are organized by lane and directory so conversations can continue after restarts. Installation is presented through a Git clone command for an MIT-licensed Node project.
