vir turns Claude Code history into an Obsidian wiki
An open-source CLI reads Claude Code transcripts and writes typed, linked Markdown notes into an Obsidian vault.
Field notes
The tool processes surviving Claude Code session files rather than relying on an agent to create memories prospectively. Its generated Markdown uses categories such as Gotcha, Pattern, Decision, and Tool, while fields including session_id, date, and confidence preserve a trace to the originating session. The displayed example vault contains 465 notes and 3,549 links, and the sample note documents a Kie.ai endpoint whose HTTP 200 response can conceal a failure in the response body.
