Williams Graveyard, Kept in the Records
A local history site documenting a half-acre Missouri graveyard, its families, records, finances, and continuing upkeep.
Field notes
The account is assembled from a deed, an 1887 newspaper notice, and an association log book containing minutes, dues ledgers, and Decoration Day records from 1900 through 1985. It preserves operational details alongside genealogy: five directors were elected in 1900, lot holders were assessed twenty-five cents, and a six-dollar cleaning contract was recorded that November. The page also notes that the grounds expanded from nearly half an acre to roughly one acre through a later Baugh family donation.
