Archives Mauboussin: Une histoire familiale, pièce par pièce
A private French archive documenting Mauboussin advertisements, jewellery, family photographs, and glass plates.
Field notes
The archive combines object records with research notes rather than presenting a conventional brand history. Its visible method uses signatures, serial numbers, fineness marks, and maker's marks to situate pieces, while the articles follow less obvious connections such as Trabert & Hoeffer-Mauboussin in New York and Pierre Mauboussin's later aircraft work. The collection currently shows three records dated 1912, 1925, and approximately 1930, each explicitly labeled as a demonstration entry awaiting replacement.
