Dont You Do It puts your worst impulses on a timer
An Android app locks selected money-losing or message-sending apps after 9pm, stores anything you still want to write, and returns it at 9am for a sober decision.
Field notes
The app uses a clock-based intervention rather than attempting to detect intoxication: selected apps and sites close at 21:00, while notifications remain visible but non-actionable. Its message vault accepts drafts and hides them until 09:00, when the user can delete, edit, or send manually. A separate ten-question gate imposes at least 20 seconds per answer and can reopen one app for ten minutes. The site says setup calculations use two typed numbers, with no bank access.
