The fund frames embodiment as a preparedness problem: a model would need durable hardware, sensing, memory that survives power cycles, and motor control rather than merely rented compute. Its proposed first platform uses commodity parts, stereo cameras, microphones, a speaker, a manipulator, and onboard inference, with 55% of the initial allocation targeted at reference hardware.
