Idio, the Keyboard That Refuses to Finish Your Sentences
An iPhone and iPad keyboard designed to study how people type and make limited on-device corrections without generated replies or prediction bars.
Field notes
Idio describes a conventional English QWERTY keyboard whose processing stays on the device, with no prediction bar, generated replies, or cloud keyboard inference. Its beta correction feature is limited to supported typo repairs and includes immediate Backspace undo. Optional Touch Learning records bounded tap statistics for Insights, while a separate Language Learning mode is described as upcoming. Basic typing is said to work without Full Access, but the public App Store release is not yet available.
