ORBITRIS — Planetary Tetris

orbitris.space Observed source
Editorial interest 84/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A playable Tetris variant in which blocks fall from orbit onto a rotating planet, forming rings that vaporise when completed.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-07 issue.

Field notes

The game uses orbital position as both its theme and its central control problem: the view auto-spins to bring the selected block to the top, while the player can also rotate the camera manually. Its documented systems include three simultaneous falling blocks, fused shapes that keep falling together, and a ten-comet strike that can miss empty columns, making positioning part of the attack.
