Pet Listen, a cautious ear for barks and meows
A browser-based sound recogniser that examines short pet recordings and offers possible context without claiming to translate animal thoughts.
Field notes
The tool combines a short recording with optional observations about the pet's situation and body language, then applies a sound-event model in the browser. It accepts WAV, MP3, M4A, and browser audio up to 30 seconds or 20 MB. The first run downloads about 90 MB of model and runtime files, while saved observations retain context and model results rather than audio. Its cited research and explicit non-diagnosis boundary distinguish sound classification from claims about emotion or animal intent.
