QueryBreak structures database practice as incident response: a learner selects a mission, inspects a read-only MySQL 8.0 environment, runs SQL, consults the schema, and submits a root-cause diagnosis. The visible interface includes nine incidents across three difficulty tiers, an incident_lab database, and a scored hint system that deducts 75 points per reveal. Progress is stored in the browser, while the global leaderboard is explicitly presented as a sample pending a production backend.
