Soovisi Vivarana — 18 Years Later
A release and archival site for a Sri Lankan film shot on 35mm that is returning to cinemas eighteen years after completion.

Soovisi Vivarana's site is organized as a sequence of “frames” covering the film, Jayalath Manoratne, trailer, awards, cast and crew, 35mm production, and lost publicity. It records a preserved original negative, planned scanning and restoration, and side-by-side analogue/digital comparisons. The project also invites photographs and screening partners, while saying tickets are “open soon”; some archive elements remain unfinished, including requested cast-and-crew photographs.
