The game combines recognizable road-racing locations with arcade mechanics: orange chevrons provide boosts, drifting can be converted into a boost, and a Red Vine pickup has three possible uses. The visible Laguna Seca configuration runs for three laps across 11 turns and 69 metres of climb. Players can choose keyboard or tilt steering, switch between mph and km/h, and select from Easy to Brutal difficulty.
