PÉCLET, a Building-Physics Practice That Thinks in Climate Systems

PÉCLET presents building physics through interactive diagrams rather than a conventional portfolio alone. One model lets visitors inspect heat movement across a layered wall assembly, while another shifts a particle field between diffusion and advection using the Péclet number. Its framework names six phenomena—thermal behavior, solar irradiance, air pressure and flow, moisture, daylight, and energy demand—and applies them to studies including composite, hot-and-dry, and warm-and-humid envelopes.
