UniDPP, One Passport for Many Rulebooks
An open framework and reference implementation for digital product passports that lets different jurisdictions read a shared product record through their own lenses.
Field notes
The framework represents a product passport as a shared identity plus an append-only record, then mounts jurisdiction-specific lenses over it. Its example combines EU energy class, Japanese Top Runner labeling, and a CITES permit on one passport, while the surrounding site exposes a 142-concept terminology browser, five working-draft specification parts, and an eight-repository reference stack. The implementation and adoption claims remain presented by the initiative rather than independently verified here.
