VoxBrain, the Offline Vocal Engineer
A Windows VST3 and standalone plugin that analyzes a vocal recording, builds a processing chain, and explains its decisions.
Field notes
VoxBrain describes a learn-and-process workflow: the user plays a verse, the plugin measures the recording, and an automatically built chain appears with an explanatory report. Its examples expose concrete values, including a 6 dB low-mid excess, a 0.71 sibilance ratio, and a -34 dB noise floor. The page lists 30 modules, 266 presets, and 46 genre profiles, and says the assistant operates offline inside the binary. Windows support is available; macOS is identified as in development.
