flakestat asks your tests to disagree in public
An open-source detector that reads JUnit XML and identifies flaky tests across pytest, Jest, Go, Maven, and other runners.
Field notes
The tool operates on JUnit XML already emitted by test runners, either from a repeated command or from stored CI results. Its example report records 20 runs and separates a flaky test from one that fails on every run, while also displaying confidence and pass/fail totals. The scoring explanation says same-commit disagreement carries more weight than disagreement across commits, and comparisons are limited to matching branch, platform, and runtime conditions.
