FlyBud, a calmer way to follow a flight
An iPhone flight tracker that combines live status, gate and delay updates, route-specific turbulence forecasts, aircraft history, and an offline flight logbook.
Field notes
FlyBud organizes a flight around a route card rather than separate airline status screens. Its example combines a Barcelona–New York itinerary with gate B41, baggage belt 7, an arrival estimate 12 minutes early, and a mid-Atlantic light-chop forecast. The page says forecasts can be downloaded before takeoff, while the phone measures in-flight bumps offline. A personal logbook records routes, aircraft, hours, and countries over time.
