The page separates file integrity from image interpretation: a record can show that a particular fingerprint was received at a recorded time, but does not establish what the scene depicts or whether a camera produced the file unless the record says so. The browser-side checker is described as never uploading the selected photo. FrameReceipt also describes an independent timestamp authority, a public record page, and an archive whose deletion model preserves the record even if its owner destroys the key.
