Gremlord operates as a local intermediary rather than replacing Claude Code’s terminal interface: Anthropic traffic can pass through unchanged, while other providers receive translated requests and streams. Its SQLite log supports cost views by model, profile, or session, and configured caps cover daily, weekly, monthly, global, or profile scopes.
