I Love You, Grandma
A small caregiving app designed to keep a grandmother with dementia connected to her granddaughter between calls.
Field notes
The project uses an iPad as a deliberately constrained interface: five large paths, a fixed home-screen icon, and Guided Access to prevent accidental wandering. Its described routines include a weekday voice recording, a voice reply that becomes a note on the family phone, games without timers or scores, and spoken reminders such as pills in the blue box. Optional kettle, pill-box, and front-door sensors are presented as a way to report activity without requiring action from the grandmother.
