Field notes

Lathe allocates a single machine among Postgres 17, Redis 8, CouchDB 3, and NATS 2, with customers able to switch engines off and return their memory to the shared budget. Its Mini example reserves 308 MB of a 2 GB machine for the kernel, pooler, exporters, and backup scripts. The service lists seven retained daily backups, standard connection strings, a 90-second stated provisioning time, and four fixed-price plans topping out at 16 GB RAM and 160 GB storage.
