MOAT combines urban observation with public participation: its twice-monthly rides across Delhi and the NCR treat transfers, waiting, accessibility, fares, and last-mile connections as field material. Its Cool Shaded Paths project is developing a routing method that compares distance with exposure, using tree shade, building shadow, indoor movement, and time of day around transit catchments. The site also links to a working Open Delhi Shade Map and a separate Delhi Metro Jazz project.
