Kōwhiringa Ledger: an election explorer for New Zealand
A sourced reference for the 2026 New Zealand election, combining polling, party policies, candidates, statements, electoral maps, and plain-English MMP guides.
Field notes
The project combines several election-reference layers rather than presenting only a headline poll: policy positions are grouped across 47 issue areas, while candidates are organized across all 72 electorates. The homepage links each displayed poll to an external source and labels the figures as a snapshot rather than a forecast. It also includes a timetable running from candidate nominations in September through official results on 27 November 2026, alongside guides to party-list and electorate voting.
