A Brooklyn service turns HP-GL pattern and marker files into full-size plotted paper rolls for pickup, courier collection, or rush production.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-08 issue.

Field notes

PlotDrop accepts HP-GL or HP-GL/2 .plt output from systems including Gerber AccuMark, Optitex, Lectra, and ETMark, then produces 1:1 paper plots on a 65-inch roll. Orders can contain up to 10 files, with length measured along the roll and rounded to the next half-yard. Files over 12 metres must be split, and the service explicitly leaves scale, seam allowance, and grain checks to the customer.
