SceneLoft, a local-first motion design workspace
A native Mac application for drawing, animating, compositing, and exporting editable 2D motion graphics, with a 3D beta workspace.
Field notes
SceneLoft organizes motion work around a three-step flow: shape the shot, animate it with presets and editable timing, then render locally. Its timeline exposes clips, keyframes, easing, and searchable presets, while typography can be revealed by character, word, or line. The site also presents 79 editable examples, including three complete 45-second films. A separate 3D beta adds geometry, cameras, materials, lights, shadows, and transform controls, with compatibility and ray-traced export still under development.
