SlowPulse uses app-specific interruptions instead of blocking access outright. Its homepage describes a deterministic on-device classifier that reads a short note and suggests one of four labels—planned, replacement, gift, or impulse—while retaining the user's ability to override it. The product tracks weekly spending by label and estimates time avoided when users back out of doomscrolling apps.
