Telão, a screen-sharing room with unusually candid privacy settings
A browser-based screen-sharing and audio tool for creating temporary rooms without installing software or making an account.
Field notes
Telão uses temporary browser rooms rather than accounts: a visitor creates a room, shares a link or key, and chooses whether access is private or publicly listed. The interface includes purpose-specific modes for coaching, eSports analysis, supervision, office hours, and one-to-one support. Its privacy panel says rooms live only in server memory, disappear when the last participant leaves, and leave a connection log containing IP, nickname, time, and room name for up to 30 days.
