The Listening Fox Wants You to Hear Yourself Talk
An iPhone app in development that records conversations, transcribes them, and identifies habits such as hedging, interruptions, and unanswered questions.
Field notes
The planned iPhone workflow begins before a meeting or difficult call, records for up to an hour, then produces a speaker-separated transcript with names and timestamps. The page describes relationship-level voice recognition, airtime and pace measurements, and annotations that quote a sentence before explaining its conversational effect. Examples include a 68% share of a conversation, 161 words per minute, and three interruptions. The public journal currently covers airtime, apologies, and hedging.
