The Scooter Parts Registry
A public registry that traces Chinese-built scooters, ATVs, UTVs, and go-karts from American badges back to their factories.
Field notes
The site uses three identifiers that may survive after a scooter’s brand becomes difficult to trace: the engine-family number on the emissions label, the first three VIN characters, and the bodywork badge. Its records connect those identifiers to factories, model years, engine sizes, and related US brands. The homepage reports coverage from 2006–2027, with 98 multi-brand factories and 145 factory-and-engine cohorts, and includes guides for reading codes and measuring worn drive belts.
