The tool applies named pipeline steps to records before writing a new format, with examples covering filtering, field selection, sorting, joins, flattening, and computed values. Its SQL mode targets Postgres, MySQL, and SQLite, while the browser demonstration runs locally in the page and says nothing is uploaded. The documentation also states important boundaries: inputs are held in memory, the practical file size is a few hundred megabytes, and YAML support excludes anchors and multi-line strings.
