Tuttu Makes Language Learning Fade Into the Reading
A Chrome side panel translates sentences and glosses words while building a personal vocabulary that gradually removes the help you no longer need.
Field notes
Tuttu presents two reading modes over one vocabulary: Translate glosses sentences and individual words early in the learning process, while Collect later isolates the words still blocking comprehension. Its example uses a Swedish news passage, and the page says annotations are stored as ranges so copied text remains unchanged. The service also describes a cache rule in which words already looked up by another reader do not count against the free daily allowance.
